15:30 – Cooking workshop with beer tasting
Taste the flavor makers from the region when it comes to specialty beers! During this cooking workshop, you will not only cook with beer but especially taste the specialty beers from the area
The Beer & Outdoor Cooking workshop is given outdoors in a fun, accessible and hospitable way in Giethoorn. Your view includes passing boats and the Weerribben – Wieden National Park.
The focus of this approximately four-hour cooking workshop is on cooking with Dutch Ovens. You will get to know various types of cast iron pans and learn the technique of cooking on a wood fire and with briquettes. During the cooking workshop you will taste at least five local specialty beers that have been carefully selected.
In groups, you will prepare a delicious meal. Each group cooks one or two dishes so that we get a complete menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. We end the cooking workshop with coffee or tea from the fire.
The cooking workshops are interactive and informal, making them ideal for team, friends and family outings!
